I have spent the last decade working on others businesses to deliver results to teams and ownership that sometimes did not see purpose on the onset of a project. What I have learned is that you cannot influence a companies direction until you are part of the company and part of the team. You must gain respect, trust, and bring a clear vision if you are to succeed with implementing change. People will always revert to what is easiest when given an option, and when growing your organization you need to be able to let old ideas go and focus on what sets you apart and what your company can become and should become. Removing obstacles and removing hesitation is a must. Building a sense of urgency and fortitude to move forward is sometimes hard but necessary! The killer of progress is doubt and hesitation.
It is your duty to bring the dream you have to greatness and to become more then you thought possible. Business is a war each day that can be won if you have the mental fortitude and constant belief in the direction you are headed.
